London 1st day.

First day in London. I am proud to say that England is my 11th country visited this year if I count NZ. That is quite a fair amount. I think I will have a hard time beating that!
So I am starting off this blog and I am not even going to introduce myself. I am more just writing this for me seeing as I am extremely unreliable and doubt I would be able to satisfy anyone if I had an audience.
So yes back tot he topic. London. It called for me and I answered. We are staying in Kensington. Mum is amazing and got this fantastic aparment for us. It is jut brilliant. Rather noisy at night but all good. I can get use to that. Anyway we started off the day by jumping on one of the double decker red buses that actually thought weren't that common but what do you know? They are. I would love to take a picture of me standing in the door way of one but firstly that would look sooo touristy and secondly I doubt the bus driver would stop for that long.
We hit the national science museum first. I have no idea if that is the actual title but it is beside the natural history museum. It was really cool! Me and Max love interactive science museums and this was super interactive. My favourite was the heat sensor screen. Mum commented that it was weird that me and Max had been to so many science museums and yet we hated science. Nothing is ever as cool in a classroom.
After there we headed to this other palce that I can't even remember and turned out to have nothing interesting there so yeah that is all the mention that place gets.
The TATE modern was rather quite cool! From studying lots of art in art history class I get so excited over seeing them in real life. Especially Jackson Pollock. I managed to take three pictures before I got told off. Why can't we take pictures?
It was a mission to get home. Bloody rain. I really had hoped that England would not live up to its crappy weather image. That hope didn't last. And then we got on a tube train and it goes one stop and then announces that the train has decided to take a different route. How kind. So that was a fail. And then I arrive home and my feet are wet. Total bullshit.
Last activty of the day was getting food. Tesco was great. And because we are on holiday I managed to get mum to buy lots of stuff that she would never buy. It was great! I am really into these banana yogurt thingies mmm. We got lots more.
Looking forward to tomorrow!
