It is near.

I had my last day school on Friday. My last day of school ever. Ever in my whole entire life. When I waled out the door of Torsberg I ran back in and stood there for a while cause it was just so weird leaving. I will never be a high school student again and I don't know how I feel about that. Definitly not glad but not sad either. Sad to leave Sweden though. EXTREMELY SAD.
I don't want to talk about it anymore. This weekend I am staying at Kristofer'while my host parents are in Stockholm. We just made a pepparkaka hus and it is so fin! I am rather proud, apart from the fact that it says God on side and Jul on the other but when you just see the God one it seems like it is the house of God. Sofia and I went for a wak this morning as well. it was soo nice! We threw snow at each other and bara chatted. I love her. I love the Ekholm family. They are amazing and beautiful.
So now I am on Christmas holidays. Thank god lots of snow has fallen, I am sooo glad. We are going to have a vit jul!!! It felt like I was in a snow globe. Especially when there was a snow storm. It felt awesome. I will miss the snow. Alot.
I am excited for Christmas. And the presents. HA.
Oh it was Kristofer's brithday in Wedenesday! And Dilan's was on Monday. We had a förefest at Kristofer's and it went great. Great people together. Then we headed out to Tranan and that was really good I think. But then Kristofer was severly drunk so it was interesting to get him home and to bed. I like him sober more. I think it would be weird if I liked him drunk though more.
I lvoe my bitches.

Boots are a bitch!

My legs are hot I think but man they will not go into boots! Stupid upper legs being fat. Fy fan Morfar! It is so annoying. I so want over the knee bots but it is not happening. Oh well. Another day another dollar. Instead I got two pairs of boots today which were all up 500kr, bargin! Got a black pair and a short brown pair and I think they are pretty darn sweet. I am happy. Gutted that I had to return my other pair but happy with the new.
So what have I been up to...I was in Sundsväll saying hej då to some exchange students. It was a pretty sweet weekend. Jack came all the way up which was sooo nice of him. He misses me. We got to go go-karting and laser tag on Rotary so that was pretty sweet. Georgia, Emma, Julia and me stayed with the coolest woman aswell! She was a priest and she owned over 125 pairs of shoes. She also said the f word and had a daughter who was 9 but just got married to the father. She believes in no sex before love not marriage. I really admire that. My prejudgment of religious leaders is out the window! But yeah saying good bye to Stefano especially was hard. He is such an amazing person. He started crying when we gave him his goodbye present. It was soo sweet. I am going to miss him! Jarryd was hard as well.
Went to innerwheel the night before. Was quite sad to say my first goodbye speech etc. I do not like it. Plus having so many people asking me about going home. Fan. Hahaha and I got the funniest lotto xmas gift. It was a pouch you hold tissues in. That is going straight to nana.
This weekend I am having a sleepover at Linnea's :) I looove my girls.

Team Edward

So on Thursday night I went to watch Twilight and then a midnight showing of New Moon. it was really cool! Really fun to go there with Linnea and such an awesome atmosphere. I thought it was funny that there were barely any guys there, it is way more love story that anything to do with vampires and werewolves.
I really enjoyed the movie. It went so fast though. I really want to see it again. I also can't decide whether I enjoyed it more than the first one or not... I think it is kind of like Harry Potter in a way. There is so much detail in the books that there kind of isn't enough room in the movie for it all.
When Jacob came on the screen with his shirt off I was extremly impressed. He is damn sexy. I am still all about Edward though. That is more in relation to books though and the fact that I think I prefer kind of skinny not super toned guys anyway. But I wouldn't mind snuggling up with Jacob :)
I loved seeing Dakota Fanning. She didn't need to do much but I have always been a fan of hers.
At the premier they were giving out movie related merchandise by sit no. and I was 39 and the girl who got the CD was 38. That sucked.
In other news school is going fine. I am trying really hard not to let going home get to me and instead just enjoy the rest of my year. it is hard though.
I met Kristofer's grandparents on Friday night. That was funny. I liked them though. I love everything about Kristofer's family.
Oh I went to Gävle last Wednesday and I got this gorgeous scarf thing, a plain white long-sleeve and a blazer. It is really cool. I have wanted one for a while. it was still hard paying $100 for it but that is the best price out there.
Ooh and I have started watching Sabrina the teenage witch, I love it!

Time flies when you're having fun.

It has been a week since I wrote right? I like how every week at school is never normal. Never a week goes by where we have all the classes we are suppose to have. Definitly makes the day a bit more exciting. I can't remember really anything happening last week... except on Friday I went to Torpshammer! It was a reaaalllly good weekend away.
We were staying in a hostel right next to Boda borg, my district and the up north district plus four newbies. it was real sweet, especially to see Georgia and Stefano etc. I love that girl so much! We have such a good time together. Plus I can tell her anything.
Boda borg was so cool as well. I am sore though. If you have no idea what I am talking about google it. It is reeeaaaallly cool.
Got back on Sunday and was so tired. Dead.
Today I did my talk about how dogs are better than cats, it went down pretty darn good :)

Wow got nothing more to say...

Never enough tv.

So I am addicted to watching tv on the internet. It isn't the fact that it is the internet it is just the fat that I can watch a whole series very fast. For example on Thursday Glee is starting on Swedish television and what do you know, I have already watched the first eight episodes. I am also at the same point of gossip girl as America is. My new addiction is One Tree Hill. I use to really not be fond of this show as nowdays it is based on adults and not teenages which is what I prefer but bam I was watching it with Alex and now I am hooked. Disgusting I know. I think I will start on Charmed next...
So anyway had a pretty chilled Helg. Friday was really nice at Sofia's birthday. I LOVE that family. It is basically my own really. I feel such a part of it, I mean I must be comfortable if I can tease his dad. The Grandma was so cute as well. 81 I think and still going strong.
Saturday and Sunday were just at home days, it is nice to just chill with my host parents. They are really nice people.
We went out to dinner on Sunday night to celebrate Fars dag, that was sweet as.
Jul is going to be sweeeet.

Pain = gain.

So as I said i got the flu vaccination but what do you know, middle of the night I am freezing (I should have listened to Kristofer teeling me to get another blanket) and so sick. Getting up in the morning was beyond painful. Especially my arm. It is still a bit tender now actually. But yeah it was bad. i ended up sitting in the shower, my body just felt so heavy. Not cool at all. Plus I thought I was going to throw up and my head was spinning. Great fun. Weirdly though by dinner time I was fine! It was so weird. But they did say it would happen I just didn't realise it would be that bad.
Oh well now I will survive the next round of this flu if it hits again. Mum said I am the only person she knows who has got it. In NZ it is only health workers etc. that are getting it. Looks like i will be Prime Minster if NZ dies out then. Touch wood.
So the main thought on my mind everyday is pretty much that I am going home. It is soo scary. I get all emotional and don't really breathe properly when I think about it. Not cool at all. I want both my lives together!
I am writing this while waiting to go out and then wait for the bus. I hate waiting for the bus. But then again I love the bus. Actually if i think about it I walked to school nearly everyday in NZ and now I can't do it. I mean it was only a little bit but it would have some effect. No wonder I have gained so much. Oh yay. Not like I will be giving up the cake any time soon though.
Speaking of cake I will be eating some tonight, I am going to Sofia's family birthday celebration. Man I LOVE that girl and that family. I am sooo glad I am a part of it. I can't even imagine what saying goodbye to them will be like. Ugh.
So yeah HAPPY BIRTHDAY Sofia! I am off to buy her gift now :) fffuuun.

Swine flu free.

Today I was vaccinated against the so called Swine Flu which has been a widely disscussed topic these past couple of days. I actually didn't spend that long thinking whether or not I would get it done it was more a what the hell it is free and who wants to get the flu anyway. Another reason as I have never had any sort of flu so why start now. I don't understand why people are freaking out so much about it, they would never give it to us if it was going to cause us to be handicapped and only be able to talk when running (some crazy youtube video.) But anyway I am happy with my decision. And I totally do not mind if the side effects cause me to take a day off school. So be it.
I have been thinking a bit lately about how I am possibly going to get everything back to NZ. It is going to be an extreme mission and there are so many things that I must take! I think this weekend I will take the time to go through and get rid of some stuff. Shoes in particular cause they take up a lot of space.
I had a horrible dream last night, I even had to get up, turn on my light and check round the room including under my bed just to try and calm myself down. Not fun waking up at 3.45 when you have to get up for school at 6.15. And getting up at 6 is horrible because it is still flipping dark outside and now as I write this it is 4.45 and it so dark outside. It is so weird. i am guessing it is going to be seriously dark on Christmas day! That will be extremely unusual.
Oh my that's what I was going to mention hahaha this is funny. There is so insane person on the internet who has started a website saying she will cook up her cat fluffy if Miley Cyrus doesn't bring back her twitter. What has the world come to?

Kiss me, I'm Irish.

So it has been a while aye... I headed down south on Wednesday till Stockholm and met up with my host sister. I stayed with her and her fiance and it was great. We watched Slumdog Millionaire, Angels and Demons and he's just not that into you. The first two were amazing! I couldn't get over angels and demons. It was like 10 times better than The Da Vinci Code. Anyway I got to see the twins. See where Erik lives and the castle. It was real cool and he looked so smart in his uniform. The only fail of the visit was the air bed went really flat, I woke up on the first night with my hip digging into the ground. Luckily the sofa was all sweet.
On Saturday I headed to Varberg and met Alex. It honestly felt like I hadn't seen him in only a month not 9 months. It was really crazy. Anyway it has been sweet. I wactched his floorball game, met his family at his grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary (great food), checked out the town and headed to this huge shopping centre which ende up having the biggest line in the world so we ended up leaving and we have just been watching a lot of movies and way too much One Tree Hill. Gotta go now...she just ran out on Luke.

Not having thumbs trumps everything.

So I am going to tell you about my new little love. Well actually like. It isn't love it but it may be. If more hot guys come onto it I may enjoy it more. I am so fake. It is great. The show is called 'Glee' and yes you guys should try it. NZ should have glee clubs. They seem delightful (there goes my fave word again.)
Anyway update:
Friday I went to Linnea's house and watched idol with her and Malin. Her house is rather large! Really nice. I like old houses in Sweden with a modern twist. With had a good gossip too. That is really fun to do, I haven't done that in a while. I love girls. Oh Lucy you lesbian.
Saturday I headed over to Kristofer's house. it was nice to be there. I feel so comfortable there. His family is delightful. We watched a movie called 'Watchmen' which was satisfying but rather unusual. The special effects were great. I guess maybe I would enjoy it more if I had read the graphic novel.
Stayed at his house so today we bought godis etc and watched 'Pirates of the Carribean 3.' It was very good. I enjoyed it. I was a little tired to watch it though...

Not much.

I rather enjoyed today actually. I think I will stop writing these so frequently now that not that much is occuring in my life. I am going to Stockholm next Wednesday though so that should be interesting!
Anyway Simon was at school today which was nice. He is so lovely to me. And him and Sara are Gorgeous together. Just want to put them in a muffin and eat them up!
It was a long day today. I don't like going till fyra. It is soo long. We had a test in english and turism was boring. We did nothing really. I just looked at the Atlantis resort website and club med. I so want to go to Atlantis. It would be beautiful. I also really want to swim with dolphins but I can do that in New Zealand.
Spoke to Kristofer today too. Not to long till they come back which is good.
Annd tomorrow I am going to watch a movie at Linnea's with Malin! Delightful (fave word right now.)

Back in Bollnäs.

So fail yesterday not writing. I did think I would make it a week without breaking it.
So I left London yesterday. It was a little sad to say good bye to mum and Max. I got a bit teary when I passed through the barrier and couldn't see them anymore. The flight was sweet as, slept a little and the train trip went pretty fast talking to Georgia, Ella and then Kristofer on the bus. He was so happy to hear from me.
Today was pretty good. I was happy as to be at school! I saw Kristofer before the boys went off to Stockholm. He seemed pretty happy to see me. Being apart over a week isn't good for him I don't think. it isn't healthy for me either.
Anyway yeah school was real sött. It was great to see the girls again. They are so funny and good to be with. Real easy. We had a long as lunch and good old gossip. It was fun. We also had fika after and we are about to go to sweat express together. Shall be fun. I like girls.
Talking to Ella now. Her sister is happy! I am now very happy.

London 6th day.

Last day in London today. Pretty saddening really. I am more sad though because I have to say goodbye to mum and Max tomorrow. That will be really hard I think.
Today was good. First we heading to Holland gardens. Mum wanted to see the Japanese garden. it was pretty cute. We also saw a peacock. Me and Max then went on the playground which was pretty epic. It said only up to age 14 but that is silly. I look 14 anyway aye?
After that we went to the London eye. I personally think it was overrated. You just go round in a big circle and you see the same thing just from a higher angle. I also did not feel so good being that high...
We headed on a mission as bus and walk to the shakspeare globe but what do you know the tours and too late because we have to go to Paddington station and go to lost and found and hopefully find our Oxford tshirts that Max left on the train. They were so cool and green! So I missed out on Shakespeare which sucked. Headed to Paddingtion but no luck there. I really liked them. Got back on the underground, ame back to Kensington, looked at some shops and then headed home to finish all the food we have before we leave tomorrow.
Thanks for calling London.

London 4th day.

So I woke up this morning and as I start yawning...just had that song in my head. So today was pretty good really. We hit Primark first. It was insane! So busy. I think I waited in queue to try on my clothes for maybe 15 minutes? I was patient though which is a first, there was just so many bloody people! They had soo much stuff too. I tried on several things just infront of a mirror in the middle of the shop. I got a sequin hat, a black patterned bag, pearl earrings and headband, blue and navy striped jersey, a pair of underwear and a really cute blue, short skirt with a gold zip up the back. Will definitly be wearing that out on the town soon.
After that we went to Madame Tussauds or however you spell it. It was rather good! I got pictures with Justin and Zac which is awesome, made me happy. The scary part was very scary. Max was so anti me holding on to him though! He screamed loud as just as we came out and these two women infront laughed. It was funny. Ooh and I got a picture with smiley Miley. That made me smile. She is so lovely.
Then we headed home. Not so much happened today because we had a sleep-in after the show yesterday. Tomorrow will be a busy day though, last day in London!
I am a little sad. Saying goodbye to mum and Max soon. it will be hard.

Saturday, October 10, 2009

Woke up this morning not happy at all. Had the scariest dream. Involved childhood friends, one of them dieing, parents trying to kill themselves etc. I woke up feeling all sick. So not a very nice start to the day. It got better though. It was sunny! That made it lovely. We caught the train to Oxford, I slept most of the way.
Seeing Mike was really random! I didn't recognise him at all but it was rather comfortable. He is a real nice guy. He showed us around Oxford, did a really good job of it too, and then took us for a pub lunch. The burger was really meaty! Intense. Me and Max got matching green Oxford tshirts but Max left them on the train. SO gay. We are going to try and get them back tomorrow though.
Got back from Oxford and headed to the theatre! Had McDonalds before. It sucked. We asked fanta and we got orange juice. Fail.
Anyway got to the theatre finally. It was really cute. The show Hairspray was amazing!! It was really good. The dancing and singing was brilliant. I think I like the stage version better than the movie.
Just talking to Kristofer now. Man I have missed this kid! Then bedtimmme.

London 3rd day.

Sup biatches. Not sure who that is directed too but hej. So today was a rather lovely day I felt. We started off by getting on a boat tour down the thames. The commetary by the guy was rather humourous. I think more because of his dialect though. I think the english dialect is sooo hot. I really REALLY want to be dating an english guy who has a school uniform with a blazer. Damn. Get me some of that. Their accents are just so sexy. I don't exactly know what area of england speaks sexier though. I may have to do some tests.
After the boat tour it was a little bit of shopping time. Max went nuts in the Nike store and I scored a tshirt. I was quite surprised because I ended up getting a Nike London tshirt that was identical to Max's just a different colour and he was alright with that. Very unusual. I must be a tad cooler now maybe? Fingers crossed? We also picked up tickets for Hairspray the muscial for tomorrow night. I definitly think that will be a good show.
Headed home for a short bit of down time and then we went to the biggest shopping centre in the whole of Europe, the Westfield London. It was Huge! I was rather over whelmed. The shops were rather expensive too. I would have looved something from TopShop but nope I am not made of money. I ended up buying a pair of shiny tights which appear to br a bit too short in the leg, a little bag which is really cute and perfect for having everything I needed but still being able to have it on the dance floor and a head band from H&M which is rather shaming but true. It has a bow on it. Mum said i looked like a play boy bunny. Is that a good thing? I also got a milkshake that was peanut butter cup flavoured. Amazing. So good. But rich though. But yeah real good.
Sleep time now. Gotta be up at 7:30am tomorrow. Heading to Oxford.

Thursday, October 8, 2009

London 2nd day.

Well we woke up to sun! So that was definitly the biggest plus for the day! It is also so awesome to not have to wear my coat. I saw in Sweden it is now around 4 degrees. Nice.
First place of the day was Harrods. I didn't really know what to expect but I think it more than lived up to my expectations. I now will dream of being one of those who can buy everything I own from there. There is nothing you can't get. Mum said if you wanted to get an elephant you can. The pet section was crazy. They had all these cakes for pets and they even had a pet changing room! That is just a little unnecesary. We just bought some pastries which were really good. I would have liked a key chain which I could have easily made into a necklace but they were still so expensive.
Oh yeah we went to H&M aswell. I am embrassed to admit that but I did get a black long cardigan which I have been looking for for ages and also a necklace with leaves on it. I like.
We got on the big bus tour bus next and just toured around London. It was a great way to see everything! We sat upstairs in the open area for a while which was lovely but then it got a little chilly. We also had head phones and we listened to commentary on everything which was good. Did you know that at the Natural History Museum back in the day some man came up with the term Dinosaur which means terrifying lizard in Latin or something. I thought that was pretty neat. I also learnt that circus is Latin for circle which explains a lot because forever I thought that Picaddily Circus was a circus. Now I get it!
It was nice just sitting on the bus cause I had such sore feet from yesterday. It sucks as well cause my boots are broken and I have no idea why. Now I really need to get some! Brown preferably. I think it is shopping tomorrow night maybe. And we are going to go see a muscial sometime, maybe Hairspray! I think that will be really good.
Now it is just chilling at home. I watched a programme before about Justin Timberlake. Man I love him. Whenever I see stuff about him, hear his music or watch his music videos my love in renewed. He is just so talented!! He would definitly be someone I would do a lot to meet. His concert last year was insane. Thumbs up to the trousersnake (who knows why he is called that?)

Wednesday, October 7, 2009

London 1st day.

First day in London. I am proud to say that England is my 11th country visited this year if I count NZ. That is quite a fair amount. I think I will have a hard time beating that!
So I am starting off this blog and I am not even going to introduce myself. I am more just writing this for me seeing as I am extremely unreliable and doubt I would be able to satisfy anyone if I had an audience.
So yes back tot he topic. London. It called for me and I answered. We are staying in Kensington. Mum is amazing and got this fantastic aparment for us. It is jut brilliant. Rather noisy at night but all good. I can get use to that. Anyway we started off the day by jumping on one of the double decker red buses that actually thought weren't that common but what do you know? They are. I would love to take a picture of me standing in the door way of one but firstly that would look sooo touristy and secondly I doubt the bus driver would stop for that long.
We hit the national science museum first. I have no idea if that is the actual title but it is beside the natural history museum. It was really cool! Me and Max love interactive science museums and this was super interactive. My favourite was the heat sensor screen. Mum commented that it was weird that me and Max had been to so many science museums and yet we hated science. Nothing is ever as cool in a classroom.
After there we headed to this other palce that I can't even remember and turned out to have nothing interesting there so yeah that is all the mention that place gets.
The TATE modern was rather quite cool! From studying lots of art in art history class I get so excited over seeing them in real life. Especially Jackson Pollock. I managed to take three pictures before I got told off. Why can't we take pictures?
It was a mission to get home. Bloody rain. I really had hoped that England would not live up to its crappy weather image. That hope didn't last. And then we got on a tube train and it goes one stop and then announces that the train has decided to take a different route. How kind. So that was a fail. And then I arrive home and my feet are wet. Total bullshit.
Last activty of the day was getting food. Tesco was great. And because we are on holiday I managed to get mum to buy lots of stuff that she would never buy. It was great! I am really into these banana yogurt thingies mmm. We got lots more.
Looking forward to tomorrow!
